This existing elderly persons mental health unit was fully remodelled and extended to provide 37 single bedrooms, most with ensuite shower rooms and associated clinical areas. Anti-ligature fittings were used extensively. The £1.35m project was carefully phased and managed to allow a partial occupation of the building throughout the project.
